Looking Beyond the Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold PCIe? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How alternatives compare to V750

ASRock PG-850PSF 850W SFX ATX 3.1

The ASRock PG-850PSF offers 850W of power, which exceeds the Cooler Master V750’s 750W output. It uses an 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating, beating the V750’s Gold certification. Both units share the SFX form factor and support PCIe 5.1 with ATX 3.1 cables. The ASRock model includes a 10-year warranty, whereas the V750’s warranty terms are not specified in its data. You should choose the ASRock if you need higher wattage for power-hungry GPUs and want maximum efficiency. The V750 remains a strong choice if you prioritize its specific 90-degree cable design for better clearance in tight cases.

SilverStone 700W Platinum SFX-L Power Supply

The SilverStone SX700-LPT provides 700W, which is 50W less than the Cooler Master V750. It achieves 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, outperforming the V750’s Gold rating. Unlike the V750, this unit uses an SFX-L form factor, making it longer at 5.12 inches compared to the V750’s 3.94 inches. It features a 120mm fan for quiet operation. You should pick this SilverStone model if your case accommodates the longer SFX-L size and you want higher efficiency. The V750 is better if you need the extra 50W of power or require the standard SFX length for maximum case compatibility.

SilverStone 700W Platinum SFX Power Supply

The SilverStone SX700-PT offers 700W, falling short of the Cooler Master V750’s 750W capacity. It delivers 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, which is superior to the V750’s Gold rating. Both units are standard SFX size, measuring 4.92 inches wide and 2.5 inches high. The SilverStone model is slightly shorter at 3.94 inches long, matching the V750’s length. It lacks the ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 support found in the V750. You should consider this SilverStone unit if you do not need PCIe 5.1 connectors and prefer higher efficiency. The V750 is the better choice for modern GPUs requiring the latest power standards.

SilverStone 750W Platinum SFX PSU

The SilverStone SX750-PT matches the Cooler Master V750’s 750W output. It provides 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, which is higher than the V750’s Gold rating. Both units are SFX form factor with identical width and height. The SilverStone model is fully modular, while the V750’s modularity is not explicitly stated in its attributes. The V750 supports PCIe 5.1 and ATX 3.1, features that the SilverStone unit lacks. You should choose the SilverStone if you want higher efficiency and confirmed full modularity. The V750 is preferable if you need PCIe 5.1 support for next-generation graphics cards.

Lian Li 750W SFX Gold Power Supply

The Lian Li SP750 delivers 750W, matching the Cooler Master V750’s wattage. It offers 80 Plus Gold efficiency, equal to the V750’s rating. However, the Lian Li unit is fully modular, whereas the V750’s modularity is not specified. The V750 supports PCIe 5.1 and ATX 3.1, while the Lian Li does not list these features. The Lian Li measures 4 inches long, which is shorter than the V750’s 3.94 inches, though the width and height differ slightly. You should pick the Lian Li if you want confirmed full modularity and a compact length. The V750 is better if you require PCIe 5.1 connectivity for modern GPUs.

Lian Li 850W White SFX Power Supply

The Lian Li SP850 provides 850W, which is 100W more than the Cooler Master V750. It offers 80 Plus Gold efficiency, matching the V750’s rating. The Lian Li unit is fully modular, while the V750’s modularity is not stated. The V750 supports PCIe 5.1 and ATX 3.1, features absent from the Lian Li’s data. The Lian Li is available in white, offering a color option the V750 does not explicitly list. You should choose the Lian Li if you need higher wattage and prefer a white color scheme. The V750 remains the stronger option for builders needing PCIe 5.1 support and ATX 3.1 cable compatibility.
