How alternatives compare to Lian Li
Lian Li 850W White SFX Power Supply
The Lian Li SP850 increases output to 850W while keeping the SFX form factor and 80 PLUS Gold efficiency. This extra power suits high-end GPUs in compact cases. It retains full modularity for clean cable management. The white finish offers a different aesthetic compared to the black SP750. You gain wattage without changing your case size. If your components draw more than 750W, this model provides the necessary headroom. It remains a premium choice for small builds requiring reliable, high-capacity power delivery in a standard SFX footprint.
Lian Li SP850 850W Gold SFX Power Supply
This unit also delivers 850W with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and full modularity. However, its dimensions are significantly larger than the SFX SP750. The listed length is 10 inches, compared to the original 4 inches. This size change means it will not fit in standard SFX cases. It is designed for larger chassis that can accommodate bigger power supplies. You trade compactness for higher wattage capacity. If you have a mid-tower or full-tower case, this model offers robust power without the size constraints of SFX units.
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 750W Power Supply
The EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 matches the 750W output and 80 PLUS Gold efficiency of the Lian Li unit. It is fully modular, ensuring clean cable routing. The key difference is the form factor. This is an ATX unit, measuring 7 inches long and 5.9 inches wide. It is much larger than the SFX SP750. It fits standard desktop cases but not small form factor builds. It offers a 10-year warranty, which is a significant benefit for long-term reliability. Choose this if you prioritize warranty coverage and have space for a standard ATX power supply.
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G+ 850W PSU
This EVGA model provides 850W of power with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and full modularity. Like the previous EVGA unit, it uses the standard ATX form factor. It measures 7.1 inches long and 5.9 inches wide. It is incompatible with SFX cases due to its size. The 850W output supports more demanding components than the 750W Lian Li. It also includes a 10-year warranty for peace of mind. This option is ideal for builders who need higher wattage and have a standard case. It sacrifices compactness for increased power capacity and extended warranty coverage.
SilverStone 700W SFX 80 Plus Gold Power Supply
The SilverStone SST-SX700-G offers 700W output with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and full modularity. It maintains the SFX form factor, fitting in compact cases like the Lian Li SP750. The wattage is slightly lower, which may limit high-end GPU configurations. It weighs only 3.09 pounds, making it lighter than many competitors. The dimensions are similar to other SFX units. This model is suitable for builds that do not require the full 750W. It provides a reliable, efficient power source for small form factor systems where every watt and gram matters.
SilverStone 700W Platinum SFX-L Power Supply
This SilverStone unit delivers 700W with SFX form factor and full modularity. It features a 120mm fan, which is unusual for SFX power supplies. The fan size aims to reduce noise levels during operation. The dimensions are slightly larger than standard SFX units, measuring 5.12 inches long. It offers quieter performance compared to smaller fan alternatives. The 700W output is sufficient for many mid-range builds. If you prioritize silent operation in a compact case, this model is a strong contender. It trades maximum wattage for improved acoustic performance in a small chassis.
