How alternatives differ from SilverStone

SilverStone 700W Platinum SFX-L Power Supply

The SilverStone 700W Platinum SFX-L offers 700W output, which is higher than the 650W baseline. It uses a 120mm fan instead of the 92mm unit, allowing for quieter operation at load. This model reaches Platinum efficiency, surpassing the Gold rating of the reference unit. However, its length extends to 5.12 inches, compared to the 3.94 inches of the original. You must ensure your case supports SFX-L dimensions. It is ideal for users who need more power density and lower noise levels, provided the extra depth fits your chassis constraints.

SilverStone 700W Platinum SFX Power Supply

The SilverStone 700W Platinum SFX matches the 3.94-inch length of the original unit but increases wattage to 700W. It upgrades efficiency to Platinum, offering better performance at typical loads than the Gold-certified reference. This model retains the standard SFX form factor, ensuring compatibility with cases designed for the original. It lacks the explicit PCIe Gen 5 support mentioned in the original features. You should choose this option if you prioritize higher efficiency and slightly more power without changing the physical footprint of your build. It is a direct upgrade in specs for compact systems.

Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold PCIe 5.1 PSU

The Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold provides 750W of power, exceeding the 650W output of the reference unit. It supports PCIe 5.1 standards, which is a newer generation than the PCIe Gen 5.1 connector type of the original. The unit maintains the compact 3.94-inch length and SFX form factor. It weighs only 3.13 pounds, making it lighter than many competitors. This power supply is suited for users who need the latest GPU connector compatibility and higher wattage in a small frame. It is a strong choice for modern high-performance mini-ITX builds requiring reliable power delivery.

SilverStone 750W Platinum SFX PSU

The SilverStone 750W Platinum SFX delivers 750W, which is 100W more than the original unit. It achieves Platinum efficiency, offering better energy conversion than the Gold rating of the reference model. The unit keeps the standard 3.94-inch length, fitting into cases designed for the original size. It is fully modular, allowing for clean cable management. This option is best for users who need higher wattage and superior efficiency without increasing the physical dimensions of their power supply. It provides a significant upgrade in power and efficiency while maintaining compatibility with standard SFX mounting points.

Lian Li 750W SFX Gold Power Supply

The Lian Li 750W SFX Gold offers 750W output, surpassing the 650W capacity of the original unit. It maintains Gold efficiency, matching the reference model's certification level. The unit is fully modular, similar to the original. It measures 4 inches in length, which is slightly longer than the 3.94-inch original but still fits most SFX cases. This power supply is ideal for users who need more power and flexibility without sacrificing efficiency. It lacks the specific PCIe Gen 5.1 connector support of the reference unit. It is a practical choice for compact builds requiring reliable, high-output power.

Lian Li 850W White SFX Power Supply

The Lian Li 850W White SFX Power Supply provides 850W, which is significantly higher than the 650W output of the original unit. It retains Gold efficiency, matching the reference model's rating. The unit is fully modular, offering cable management flexibility. It is available in white, providing aesthetic options not specified for the original. This power supply is suited for users who need maximum wattage in a compact form factor. It does not specify support for the latest PCIe Gen 5.1 connectors. It is a strong option for high-performance builds requiring substantial power delivery within standard SFX dimensions.
